Nant & Fall Nature Reserve
Almost 20 km from Trevelin, on route 259 km 56, and southeast of the 16 de Octubre valley, Futaleufú department, are the Nant & Fall waterfalls, (Arroyo de los Saltos in Welsh), whose river of the same name It is a tributary of the Corintos River. Its transparent and fast waters offer the four most impressive waterfalls of its journey, with La Petisa, Las Mellizas and Salto Grande being the waterfalls that make its popularity. From this place, you can also see in the distance the 16 de Octubre valley and the Trono de las Nubes hill, located in front of the reserve.
As part of the protected natural area, this ecological reserve offers the possibility of short self-guided walking tours through an area of closed forest with great specimens of cypress and cohiues trees. The green of these lush trees is contrasted by the red of the rose hips, being late winter the best time to visit the reserve.
